Dates and Program

Initial country selections will take place in late January and resolutions are due by mid-March. The conference itself will be held on UWL's campus in mid-April (April 12-15, 2018).

Conference Fees and Registration

Every attempt has been made to keep the conference fees down while still providing perks, like meals, that are a regular part of the Arrowhead experience. The delegate/adviser fee is $60/person and the country fee is $20/country (or $100 maximum per school) for payments received by March 30, 2018

Lodging and Transportation

We have partnered with the Holiday Inn & Suites in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin to provide participants with a conference rate for hotel rooms. The rate is $82/night plus tax per room, and reservations must be made by March 12, 2018 to guarantee the rate.

Committees and Agendas

One of the unique features of AMUNC has been its emphasis on debating resolutions submitted by delegates in advance of the conference. All resolutions submitted by March 16, 2018 will be guaranteed a spot on the agenda for the appropriate committee.

The bodies that will consider resolutions submitted in advance are:

  • GA 1: Political and Security Committee

  • GA 2: Economic and Finance Committee

  • GA 3: Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian Committee

  • Security Council

In addition, the GA 4: Environmental Committee will write resolutions at the conference on topics to be posted in early February.
